Solstice Soundscape
Monday, 21 December 2015,  5:30 pm  -  9:30 pm

"Solstice Soundscape" will be a healing sound journey carried on the powerful frequency created by Matthew Kocel (www.omshaman.com), an extremely talented throat-singer adept in the use of his Harmonium, Singing Bowls and various other auditory eccentricities.  There will be a small opening ceremony with words of wisdom and Solstice teachings from elders in the community, followed by Matthew's Sound Journey and ending the night with a short closing ceremony.  It will be an evening of intention setting focussed on the Solstice, with an emphasis on harmonic reception to impart a gift of healing frequency on your being, to carry into the stillness and contemplation of Winter.

The doors will open at 5:30pm and the event will take place from 6:30-9:30pm.  There will be complimentary tea and snacks available (gluten-free and vegan options will be present).

Tickets will be available at MELOmania and at the door for $20 for adults, $10 for students. and children under 10 are free.

Please bring a peaceful demeanor and a soft pad (a yoga mat, foamie, therma-rest, or a blanket and a pillow) - whatever you require to make yourself comfortable as the journey is best experienced lying down in a relaxed position.

Excess revenue from this event will be gifted back to the Roberts Creek Community Association.
